First Dissemination Workshop: Contemporary Issues in SEA: New Geopolitics, Populism and Violence

The CRISEA project held its 1st Dissemination Workshop on « Contemporary Issues in SEA: New Geopolitics, Populism and Violence» in Manila, Philippines, on 14-15 February 2019. It brought together researchers from Work Package 4 ‘Identity’ and involved a closed-door session with the European delegation to the Philippines as well as a Public Forum on «Contemporary Identities in Southeast Asia : Youth, Violence and Transnationalism» co-organized with Facebook Philippines and the Philippine Sociological Society. The CRISEA project members would like to express their warm thanks to H.E. Franz Jessen, EU Ambassador to the Philippines, for his support and to organizers Dr Jayeel Cornelio and his colleague Erron C. Medina, Ateneo de Manila University.
