Bui Nhat Quang is Vice President of VASS and a political economist. He obtained his master degree in political economy in the University of Trento, Italy and his PhD degree in political economy at the Institute for World Economy and Politics (VASS). He is interested in comparative research in international economic development. He was the former director of Institute for Africa and Middle Eastern Studies (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) and Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Ninh Thuan province.
The Corporatization of Vietnamese Agriculture
A research on the industrialization of agriculture in Vietnam, with specific focus on the engagement of large corporations in agricultural production. The fieldwork will be conducted in several mega-agricultural developments in the North of Vietnam.
