Do Ta Khanh

Do Ta Khanh is Director, Centre for EU Studies, Institute for European Studies – Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS). He obtained his Bachelor’s degree at Vietnam National University in international Studies, 1999. He then obtained his Master degree at Roskilde University (Denmark) in 2005. He obtained his PhD degree at Graduate Academy of Social Sciences, Hanoi, with a thesis: Industrial Policy in some European Countries in the Early Decades of the 21st century. During the last 11 years, he has been project manager and team leader for various international, and particularly EU-funded projects.

A research on the impact of Vietnamese industrial policy on the economic reform and social development, with particular attention to the model of industrialization, reform of state-owned enterprises, and labour issues.
